NCMI
Eden Church is a non-denominational church, but we don't do ministry alone. Although non-denominational, we are inter-dependent with churches across the globe and, through partnership, in submission to the NCMI Team. We believe in accountability, transparency and partnering with what God is doing globally.
New Covenant Ministries International (NCMI) is a trans-local ministry team (of Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Evangelists & Teachers; as described in Ephesians 4), with an apostolic prophetic heart. This NCMI Team is comprised of men and women who, through partnership, help pastors/elders equip local churches in doing the work Jesus set out for us. Their work is to equip and mobilise believers for the fulfilment of the work of the Kingdom, and the discipling of the nations, finding unity in the faith, and full maturity in Christ Jesus. Their heart, like ours, is to know Jesus, be known by Jesus and to make Jesus known. Their function is to bring Godly perspective, input, direction to the elders of local church. Although Elders are the highest governing authority in local church, the elders seek correction, encouragement, rebuke, alignment from this team much like the dynamic relationship between Timothy who led locally and Paul, the Apostle who brought governmental input.
Church leaders partner with NCMI voluntarily and through friendship. There are no documents to sign, no headquarters and nothing that makes our partnerships formal and legally binding. NCMI see the Church as a grouping of people that God has called to bring and demonstrate His message of life, grace, reconciliation, and redemption in the world (the “Priesthood of All Believers”) and to make disciples of all nations.
They have an “apostolic heart” because they believe in planting churches in every city, region, and nation of the world and actively work in partnership with local leaders in making this a reality. NCMI are currently working in more than 100 different countries, and there are local churches in these nations that voluntarily partner with NCMI as a trans-local team.
